When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a gift set box when the contents change with the season or the customer chooses them. Corporate gifting, curated boxes, holiday sets and spa bundles all need one box that takes a candle this month and a bottle and two jars the next. Tissue and crinkle do the holding, so there is no insert to re-cut. The lid is the printed surface and the inside of the lid takes a card or a message. It suits brands packing by hand in small runs.
Choose a skincare set box or a fragrance box with insert instead when the contents are fixed and glass, because tissue does not stop a jar sliding into a bottle in transit. Choose a full color printed mailer box when the set ships direct in the mail, since a rigid gift box still needs an outer.

How do I size a box when the contents change?
Size it for the biggest set you plan to sell this year and let tissue take up the difference. A 10 by 8 by 4 inch box holds a candle, two jars and a bar with room to spare; a 12 by 10 by 4 takes a bottle lying down as well. Send us the largest three products and we work back from those.
Can you supply the tissue and crinkle paper too?
Yes. Printed 17 gsm tissue in your color or pattern, plain tissue, and crinkle paper in about twenty colors all ship in the same consignment as the boxes. Two sheets of tissue and a handful of crinkle per box is the usual allowance, and it packs a set in about a minute at your bench.
Should I add a divider?
If one item is glass, yes. A simple paperboard cross divider or a single partition keeps a jar from meeting a bottle and adds almost nothing to the build. For sets that are all soft goods, tissue and crinkle alone are enough. A false floor with a ribbon lift is another option when you want a two-tier reveal.
Lift-off lid or magnetic lid?
Lift-off when the box will be tied with ribbon or stacked on a shelf; it is the classic gift box and the lightest to freight. Magnetic when the box will be opened on camera or reused after, because the lid opens flat and stays attached. Both take the same base and the same tissue.
Can I add a card holder inside the lid?
Yes. Two diagonal slits in the lid lining hold a card up to 5 by 7 inches, or a ribbon band across the lid does the same for a thicker card. Both are cut before wrapping, so the edges are clean and there is no extra lead time. We also print thank you cards to match, from 200 units.
