Choose a ribbon closure box instead when you do not need names or dates on the lid and want a plainer gift box, because the personalized foil pass is the part that needs a fixed guest list. Choose a straight tuck end carton for favors in the hundreds, since a rigid box is built for a keepsake and a carton for a table.

Can each box have a different guest name?
Yes, from 200 units. A shared design is foiled on the lid, then each guest name is foiled as a second pass from your list. Names are set in one typeface and one foil color across the run, and you send us the list as a spreadsheet at the proof stage. Allow one extra business day for a run of 100 names.
How far ahead of the date should I order?
Six weeks is comfortable. Twelve to fourteen business days after proof is the build, and the digital proof usually arrives within one business day of your artwork. If you want a white prototype first, add the time your quote confirms for it, then a few days for shipping and a week of slack for a change to the guest list. Boxes for an invitation suite should ship to your stationer, not the venue.
Will an invitation suite fit without sliding?
Yes, with an insert. A 7 by 5 by 1.5 inch box takes an A7 suite of invitation, details card and reply set in a die-cut paperboard insert with a thumb notch, and a vellum wrap or a wax seal on top. Tell us how many cards and their thickness and we set the depth so the lid closes flat.
Can the ribbon match the wedding colors?
Satin ribbon is stocked in about forty colors, which covers most palettes. Send a Pantone reference or a fabric swatch and we match the closest stocked shade, or dye to order for runs of a few hundred or more. The ribbon ships threaded and untied so the bows are crisp on the day.
Do you supply the contents of a welcome box?
No, only the box, the ribbon, the insert and the tissue. We size the box around what you plan to put in it, so send us the three largest items or their dimensions and we work back from those. A 10 by 8 by 4 inch welcome box takes a candle, a snack, a drink and a card.
How is the wedding and event box different from a wedding favor box?
