When to choose it, and when not to

Choose a custom favor box when you want every guest's take-home gift branded with the couple's names or monogram rather than a plain stock box with a separate sticker, and your guest count comfortably clears the 200-unit minimum.

Choose a plain stock favor box with a printed sticker or a ribbon tag instead for a very small guest list under 100, since the custom print minimum won't pencil out for a handful of favors.

Questions people ask

Which style should we pick for our guest count and budget?

Pillow boxes are the lowest cost per unit and work well for lighter favors like candy. Straight tuck-end boxes hold their shape best for anything with a bit of weight or an odd shape. Gable boxes with a handle are the most premium-feeling and work well if the favor needs to be carried rather than just picked up.

Can you fit our names and wedding date on the box without extra design cost?

Yes, text like names, a date, or a short monogram is included in the standard design and print setup, so there's no separate plate charge for adding that compared to a plain pattern box.

Do the boxes ship assembled or flat?

They ship flat and pop into shape using the self-locking tabs, no glue needed. You can assemble them the week of the event, which also makes them easy to store flat until then.

What's a safe order timeline before the wedding date?

We'd recommend finalizing your order at least 4 weeks out, accounting for the 10 to 12 business day production time plus any proof revisions and shipping buffer, especially during peak wedding season.

Can we order a slightly higher quantity than our guest count in case of damage or late additions?

Yes. We usually suggest ordering 5 to 10 percent over your guest count for exactly that reason. It's a small add to the order and cheaper than a rushed reorder later.

Is 200 units really the minimum, even for a smaller wedding?

Yes, that's our production minimum for a custom-printed run. For a guest list well under 200, a stock box with a printed ribbon tag or a small sticker is usually the more cost-effective route.

How is a wedding favor box different from the wedding and event box?

Count and keepsake. The favor box is a small folding carton on 14 or 18pt SBS, in pillow, tuck-end or gable styles, printed with names and date, and it assembles with self-locking tabs and no glue; it is the box for a few candies or a small gift at every place setting. The wedding and event box is a wrapped 1200 gsm rigid box with a satin ribbon and foiled names, for invitation suites, bridesmaid proposals and welcome gifts. Both start at 200 units; favors take 10 to 12 business days after proof and the rigid box 12 to 14 business days. Hundreds of guests means favor boxes; a short list of people means the rigid box.
