Questions about mailer boxes
What is the difference between a mailer box and a shipping box?
A mailer box is a single piece with a built-in tuck lid and dust flaps, so it closes without tape and looks finished when it lands. A shipping box (regular slotted container) has four flaps top and bottom and is taped shut. Mailers suit direct-to-consumer orders; shipping boxes suit heavier or bulk loads.
Which board should my mailer use?
Most mailers run on E-flute corrugated, which is thin enough to print well and strong enough for carrier handling. Heavier products and bottles move up to B-flute. The product page lists the board for each style, and the Swatch Book shows them in hand.
Can you print the inside of a mailer box?
Yes. The inside printed mailer and the subscription box both carry a second full color print on the inside liner. Any mailer can add it; it shows on your proof before anything is made.
What is the minimum order for mailer boxes?
Most mailer styles start at 200 units. The plant shipping box starts at 300. Each product page shows its own minimum.
