When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a kraft mailer for anything that ships on its own: subscription boxes, candles, cosmetics, apparel, small electronics. It is the box that arrives on the doorstep, so it is the first thing your customer touches. One color on kraft reads as honest and small-batch; full color inside reads as a brand that planned the unboxing.
Choose a corrugated shipping box for heavy or bulk shipments where the lid tuck is not enough. Choose a folding carton for anything that sits on a shelf; a mailer is built to be shipped, not displayed.

What is E-flute and why do you use it?
E-flute is the fine corrugated board, about 0.06 in thick with around 90 flutes per foot. It prints far better than B-flute, folds clean and still protects. It is the standard mailer board for anything under about 5 pounds.
One color or full color?
One color flexo on kraft is the classic look and the fastest. Full color digital gives photographs and gradients and lets you print inside. Both run from 200 units.
Can I print inside the box?
Yes. Inside print is where the unboxing happens. A color, a pattern or a message on the inside liner costs one extra pass and no extra lead time.
How do I know what size to order?
Measure your product with its packaging, add a finger of clearance on each side, and tell us. Or send a photo beside a coin and we size it. Sizes are inside dimensions.
Does it need an insert?
For a jar, a bottle or anything that can rattle, yes. A die-cut E-flute cradle holds it still and costs less than the damage claims it prevents.
How is the kraft mailer box different from the eco kraft mailer box?
The kraft mailer is the flexible one. It prints one or two color flexo or full color digital, and it can take full color inside print on a white inside liner. The eco kraft mailer box gives those options up on purpose: unbleached liners on both faces, one or two color water-based flexo with no white ink, and no coating, so the whole box goes in the paper bin with nothing to separate. Both are 32 ECT E-flute from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. If a recyclability claim matters more than color, choose eco kraft.
Kraft carton or kraft mailer box: which should I choose?
Choose by where the box goes. The kraft carton is 18pt natural kraft paperboard, a folding carton for a shelf or for a product that ships inside another box; it starts at 300 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The kraft mailer box is E-flute corrugated with a tuck-in lid, built to go through a carrier on its own; it starts at 200 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. If the box travels alone, pick the mailer. If it sits on a shelf or inside a shipper, pick the carton.
