Perfume carton
24pt SBS, fitted cradle500 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA perfume carton is a folding carton sized to fit a fragrance bottle snugly, with a die-cut cradle insert that holds the bottle steady during shipping and on shelf. We produce them on 24pt SBS from 500 units, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof, sized to your exact bottle dimensions.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a fitted perfume carton for a fragrance brand where the bottle needs to sit snugly on shelf and survive shipping without rattling, and where box weight and finish are part of how the fragrance is positioned at its price point.
Choose a simpler unlined carton or a poly bag instead for a lower-cost body spray or a travel-size format where a precisely fitted cradle insert isn't worth the added tooling cost.

Questions people ask
How precisely does the cradle need to fit the bottle?
We design the cradle from your bottle's exact dimensions, ideally from a sample bottle sent to us, so it holds snugly without excess rattle room. A close fit is what actually prevents the bottle from shifting and getting scuffed in transit.
Can the same carton fit more than one bottle shape if we change suppliers later?
Not without a new cradle die, since the fit is specific to one bottle geometry. If your bottle shape changes, budget for a new cradle tool. The outer carton print can often stay the same if the footprint is close.
What's the difference between foil stamp and spot UV for a premium look?
Foil stamp presses a metallic or colored foil into the board for a reflective, tactile mark, popular for logos and accents. Spot UV adds a glossy raised coating over specific areas of a matte finish, creating contrast and texture without metallic shine. Many premium fragrance boxes use both together.
Do you test that the bottle actually fits before full production?
Yes, on request. A structural prototype built around your actual bottle sample confirms the cradle fit and the outer carton's tuck-end tension.
Is 500 units a normal minimum for a new fragrance launch?
It's our production minimum, and it's a reasonable first-run size for a new fragrance SKU, since the cradle tooling cost is the main fixed cost and doesn't scale down much below that.
Can the tuck-end closure show if the box has been opened, for tamper evidence?
The snug tuck-end shows visible creasing on first open, which reads as tamper-evident to most consumers, though it isn't a certified tamper-evident seal. A separate tamper seal sticker can be added if you need that formal claim.
Perfume carton or rigid fragrance box with insert: which should I choose?
Choose by price point and by whether the box gets kept. The perfume carton is a 24pt SBS folding carton with a fitted paperboard cradle: it ships flat, suits retail shelves and gift sets at a sensible unit cost, and starts at 500 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The fragrance box with insert is a wrapped 1200 gsm rigid box with a paperboard or foam insert cut to the bottle: it arrives assembled, it is the box people keep, and it starts at 200 units in 12 to 14 business days after proof. For a first run under 500 units, the rigid box is the one that fits the quantity.
