Lip gloss box
18pt SBS, tuck-top or sleeve500 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA lip gloss box is a small folding carton sized tight around a single lip gloss tube or wand bottle, built as either a tuck-top box or a slide-out sleeve depending on how much of the tube you want visible at the point of sale. We run them on 18pt SBS from 500 units, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a lip gloss box for a cosmetics brand selling individual glosses at retail or online, where the unboxing and shelf presentation of a single SKU matters and the box needs to hold the tube snugly without rattling.
Choose a multi-cavity tray or set box instead if you're selling a bundle of several glosses together. A single-tube box isn't the right format once you're packaging more than one unit per sale.

Questions people ask
How snug should the fit be around the tube to prevent rattling?
Send us your exact tube diameter and length and we'll size the interior with a tight enough tolerance that the tube sits still without needing extra foam or insert padding.
Can we get a window to show the gloss color or fill level?
Yes, a die-cut window over the tube body is a common add. Tell us where you'd like it positioned and we'll place it so it doesn't weaken the fold.
Is a tuck-top or sleeve box better for an unboxing-focused brand?
A slide-out sleeve tends to feel more premium on unboxing since the tube slides out cleanly. A tuck-top costs less per unit, and we can quote both if you're deciding.
Can you match foil stamping to a specific brand color?
Foil comes in a set range of metallic and color options. Send us your Pantone and we'll confirm the closest foil match before production.
What's the lead time if we need structural changes after the first proof?
10 to 12 business days covers standard production once the structure is approved. A structural revision after that point typically adds a few days for a new die.
Do you print inside the box or just the exterior?
Exterior print is standard. Interior print is available at an added cost if you want branding visible when the box is opened.
How is a lip gloss box different from a cream jar box?
Shape. The lip gloss box is a small, narrow 18pt SBS carton sized tight around one tube or wand bottle, as a tuck-top or a slide-out sleeve, with an optional window over the applicator. The cream jar box is a wider carton for a squat jar, with an interior collar or locking tabs that hold the jar upright. Both start at 500 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof and take foil and spot UV. Tubes and wands suit the gloss box; jars and pots suit the cream jar box.
