Skincare carton
18pt SBS, soft touch200 minimum · 10 to 14 business daysA skincare carton is a folding carton built for bottles, jars, droppers and tubes, on 18pt SBS with a soft-touch or matte finish and, where the product is glass, a paperboard cradle that holds it upright. We produce them from 200 units in 10 to 14 business days after proof, with a panel laid out for the ingredient list and the claims you are allowed to print.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a skincare carton when the product sits on a shelf or in a set, or when it ships inside a mailer. The carton is where the ingredient panel, the net contents and the batch code live, so it does regulatory work as well as brand work.
Choose a rigid box for a gift set or a hero product where the box is kept. Choose a mailer if the bottle ships alone and there is no shelf.

Questions people ask
What has to be on the box?
Under federal cosmetic labeling rules, the product identity, net contents, the ingredient list in descending order, the responsible party's name and address, and any warnings the product needs. We lay out a back panel for it and flag anything that looks like a drug claim, but the wording is yours and your regulatory adviser's.
Does a glass bottle need an insert?
Yes, if it moves in the carton. A paperboard cradle or collar holds it upright and stops it knocking. It is die-cut from the same board and glued in, so it does not change lead time.
Soft-touch or matte?
Soft-touch feels like velvet and deepens colors, and it is a common choice for premium skincare. Matte aqueous costs less and resists scuffs better. Both take foil and deboss.
Can you match my label colors?
Yes. Send the Pantone reference or the label itself and we match on the proof.
What about a batch code?
Leave a clear area on the back or base and stamp or print it at filling. We mark the area on the dieline so it is never covered by artwork.
How is the skincare carton different from cosmetic packaging boxes?
Same carton family, different product. The skincare carton is laid out for bottles, jars, droppers and pumps: 18pt SBS, a paperboard cradle or collar for glass, 24pt board above 100 ml, and a back panel for ingredients and net contents. Cosmetic packaging boxes are set up for color cosmetics, lipsticks, compacts, mascaras and palettes, starting at 16pt for small items. Both start at 200 units in 10 to 14 business days after proof with the same finishes, soft-touch, foil, deboss and spot UV. If the product is glass with a liquid or cream inside, the skincare carton is the better fit.
