Incense packaging
18pt SBS200 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysIncense packaging is a slim folding carton built to the length of a stick pack or the shorter footprint of a cone box, on 18pt SBS with a straight tuck or a friction-fit sleeve top. We produce them from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. A standard stick box for ten to twelve 10.5 inch sticks runs about 1.5 by 1.5 by 11 inches; a cone box runs closer to 2.5 by 2.5 by 3.5.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose incense packaging when the sticks or cones are loose in the box and need a slim carton to hold them straight and keep the scent sealed until it's opened, which matters more for incense than for most dry goods since a loose flap lets the fragrance fade on the shelf. Kraft with one color is the common look for this category and hides handling marks well; a soft-touch or foil finish moves it toward a gifting shelf rather than a wellness-aisle one.
Choose a candle box instead if what you're actually packing is a jar or tin rather than loose sticks or cones, since that carton is built around a collar for glass, not a straight cavity for a stick bundle. Choose a pouch with a zip closure if the sticks need to be resealed after a few are used rather than opened once and left, because a folding carton doesn't reclose once the flap is broken.

Questions people ask
Does the box keep the scent in until it's opened?
A folded and glued carton with a straight tuck top slows scent loss noticeably compared to an open tray, but it isn't airtight the way a heat-sealed pouch is. For a stronger seal we can add an inner glassine sleeve around the stick bundle before it goes in the carton, which is a common add for stronger fragrance lines.
Can one box fit both sticks and a holder?
Yes, if you tell us the holder's dimensions we can design a small die-cut tray or a divided cavity so the holder sits alongside the stick bundle without the sticks shifting on top of it.
What's the difference between the stick box and the cone box?
Mostly proportions. A stick box is long and narrow to fit full-length sticks standing or lying flat. A cone box is short and closer to square, usually with a small internal tray since cones are shorter and don't self-support the way a bundle of sticks does.
Can I run kraft on the outside and a printed panel just on the front?
Yes, that's a common combination: plain kraft on three sides and a full color front panel window or printed patch, which keeps cost down while still giving you a real graphic on the shelf-facing side.
Do you handle the fragrance or the sticks themselves?
No, we only build and print the box. The incense product, the fragrance, and any burn-safety wording on the box is between you and your product supplier and your own labeling review.
What is the minimum order for a incense packaging?
200 units, and reorders carry the same minimum. Lead time is 10 to 12 business days after you approve the free digital proof.
