Cone sleeves
18pt SBS300 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA cone sleeve is a flat folded paperboard sleeve that holds a bundled pack of pre-rolled cones, closed with a friction tuck or an adhesive strip rather than a full box structure. We produce them on 18pt SBS from 300 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof, laid out with panel space for whatever compliance and batch text your category requires. A standard 6-cone sleeve runs about 3.5 by 4.5 by 0.75 inches.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a cone sleeve for a bundle of unfilled pre-rolled cones sold as an accessory item, where the job is to keep the bundle flat, protect the papers from crushing, and give you a printed panel for brand and required text. It's a low-cost format built for a retail shelf or a counter display, not a shipping carton, so it suits a paper or cone brand selling packs of five to twenty rather than a single filled product.
Choose a pre roll and vape tube instead if what you're packing is one to five already-rolled and filled products rather than empty cones for the buyer to fill themselves, since a tube seals a filled product for freshness and a sleeve is built around a stack of flat, dry paper cones. Choose a hemp product box if you're packing a jar, pouch, or bottle rather than a flat bundle of cones.

Questions people ask
Do you handle the required compliance labeling and wording?
We lay out the panel with space for whatever labeling text, warnings, and batch or QR information your product and state require. Confirming the correct wording and whether it meets your state's rules is entirely on your side; we don't advise on compliance content.
How do the cones stay from shifting inside the sleeve?
For a small bundle, four to six cones, a snug sleeve width holds them without extra help. Above six we usually add a thin die-cut paperboard divider that keeps the stack from telescoping when the sleeve is handled edge-on.
Is the seal tamper-evident?
A friction tuck flap is not tamper-evident on its own. If that matters for your product, we run an adhesive strip across the flap instead, which tears visibly on first opening.
Can this be a window sleeve so the cones show through?
Yes, a die-cut window with a clear film patch is a common add so the buyer can see the paper color and cone count before opening. It adds one step and no real lead time.
What's the real difference between this and a small folding carton?
Depth, mostly. A sleeve is flat, under an inch deep, and closes with a single tuck or strip rather than the multi-panel base a true carton needs to stand on its own. It's the cheaper, faster format when the product itself is flat and light.
What is the minimum order for cone sleeves?
300 units, and reorders carry the same minimum. Lead time is 10 to 12 business days after you approve the free digital proof.
