18pt SBS500 minimum · 10 to 12 business days

An eyelash box is a small, shallow folding carton built around a plastic eyelash tray, sized close to the tray so the lashes don't shift and crush against the lid. We produce them on 18pt SBS from 500 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. A standard single-pair tray fits a 3.5 by 1 by 3.5 inch box.

When to choose it, and when not to

Choose an eyelash box when the product is a tray of false lashes and the packaging needs to sit tight enough that the lashes can't slide out of shape in shipping, which matters more here than on most small cosmetics since a bent lash line reads as a damaged product. It's the format most lash brands use for single-pair sets sold at retail or through a subscription box.

Choose a cosmetic carton instead if you're packing a different small item, like a compact or a lip product, where fit against a plastic tray isn't the concern. Choose a die-cut earring card if the item is a flat accessory rather than a three-dimensional tray.

Questions people ask

Will the lashes get crushed if the box is too tight?

The box is sized to the tray's outer dimensions with a small clearance, not squeezed against it, so the tray sits snug without pressure on the lash line itself. Send us your tray's exact dimensions or a sample and we fit the dieline to it.

Can I add a window so buyers see the lash style before opening?

Yes, a die-cut window with a clear film patch on the front or lid is a common add for lash brands, since style and length are the whole selling point. It adds one step and no real lead time.

Does it need a slot for an applicator or tweezers?

If you're bundling an applicator, yes, a small die-cut slot on one side keeps it from rattling loose. Tell us what's going in and we lay out the interior to fit.

Can one box work for a few different lash styles?

The tray itself usually determines the box size, so if your trays are the same footprint across styles, one carton structure works with different printed artwork or a small style label per SKU.

Is a magnetic closure available?

Not standard, since a carton this size adds cost with a magnet disproportionate to the product value. A snap-fit friction tab does the same job of holding the lid shut through normal handling.

How is an eyelash box different from a mascara box?

The eyelash box is small and shallow, 18pt SBS sized close to the plastic lash tray so the lashes do not shift and crush, as a tuck end or a snap lid for repeated opening. The mascara box is tall and slim, 16pt SBS sized to stand one tube upright. Both start at 500 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. Lash trays go in the lash box; tubes go in the mascara box.
