14 to 18pt card stock, die-cut slots500 minimum · 8 to 10 business days

An earring card is a small die-cut display card with slots or punched holes that hold a pair of earrings in place without tape or a plastic bag, built for craft sellers and small jewelry brands who sell on a card rather than in a box. We produce it from 500 units on 14 to 18pt card stock, ready in about 8 to 10 business days after proof.

When to choose it, and when not to

Choose a die-cut earring card for a craft fair, market stall, or small jewelry brand that displays and sells pieces directly on the card, where the card itself is part of the product presentation on a hook or pegboard.

Choose a small jewelry box or a hang tag with a poly bag instead if you're selling online only and the piece ships in its own packaging, since the slotted display card is built specifically for in-person, on-card retail presentation.

Questions people ask

What's the difference between the slot and punched-hole hold methods?

Die-cut slots suit post-back earrings: the post pushes through a small slit and a backer holds it in place. Punched holes suit hook or dangle earrings, which hang through a round hole instead. Tell us your earring style and we'll set up the right die.

Can the card be a custom shape that matches our logo?

Yes, a custom die-cut outline is available. It adds a modest tooling cost and about 2 to 3 days to lead time versus a standard rectangle or rounded-corner shape.

Do you supply the foam dot backers, or do we add those ourselves?

We can supply pre-applied self-adhesive foam dot backers on the card for post earrings, or leave the card plain if you're using your own backing method.

What weight of card stock should I pick?

14pt is standard and holds up fine for most earring weights and display conditions. 18pt is worth the upgrade for heavier statement pieces or if the card will sit upright in a stand rather than lying flat or hanging.

Can I fit multiple earring styles on the same card design, printed once?

Not on a single card. Each card is sized and slotted for one pair. If you want a multi-pair display, we'd build a separate small counter display or a header card instead. Ask about our display formats.

Is 500 units really the minimum for something this small?

Yes, it's our production minimum since it's what makes the print and die-cutting setup worthwhile. 500 cards tends to go further than expected, since the actual material and print cost per card is low.
