Flower box
Rigid board, waterproof liner200 minimum · 12 to 14 business daysA flower box is a rigid, waterproof-lined box built to hold an arranged bouquet upright for local delivery or in-store pickup, standing in for a paper wrap when a florist wants a sturdier presentation that survives a car ride. We produce them from 200 units on rigid board with a plastic sleeve or wax-coated liner, ready in about 12 to 14 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a rigid flower box for a florist or flower-subscription brand shipping or delivering arranged bouquets that need to stand upright and stay dry in transit, especially when the box itself ends up in the customer's unboxing photo.
Choose a kraft flower wrap or a simple cellophane sleeve instead for counter sales and walk-in purchases, where the customer carries the flowers out immediately and a rigid box adds cost without adding much.

Questions people ask
Does the box actually hold water?
The box itself isn't watertight. For stems that need hydration in transit, we spec a hole in the liner sized for a standard floral water tube or vial, which holds the water rather than the box.
Can the box ship, or is it delivery-only?
It can ship, but the rigid board and liner add weight and dimensional cost compared to a corrugated flower box built for freight, so this style is better suited to local delivery or in-store pickup, with a lighter corrugated option for anything going by carrier over long distances.
What's the difference between the round and tapered shapes?
The round hatbox shape suits a fuller, rounder bouquet and photographs well from above. The tapered rectangular shape fits a more structured, vertical arrangement and uses less shelf space if you're holding stock.
Can I get a clear window in the lid?
Yes, a PET window in the lid is available at this rigid-board weight. It's worth considering if you want the bouquet visible before the customer opens the box.
How long do flowers realistically stay fresh in a closed box?
That depends more on the flowers and any water source than the box. We'd plan for the box to hold up for same-day or next-day delivery, not multi-day storage.
Can I order a small batch to test with one wedding or event before committing?
200 units is our production minimum, since it's what makes the structural tooling and print setup worthwhile. Below that, a stock box with a printed sticker or a wrapped kraft cone is usually the more practical test option.
How is the flower box different from the hat box?
Both can be round hatbox-style rigid boxes, but the flower box is built for water. It is rigid chipboard wrapped in fabric or paper, with a waterproof plastic sleeve or wax-coated liner, an optional cut-out for a water tube and a ribbon handle, in round or tapered shapes, from 200 units in 12 to 14 business days after proof. The hat box is 1200 gsm board with no liner, sized deep enough to clear a crown and brim, from 200 units in 12 to 14 business days. Arrangements need the lined flower box.
