A nutrition label is a roll-fed sticker sized to carry a Nutrition Facts panel, ingredient list, and allergen line on a jar, pouch, or box. We produce it to the artwork and data you supply, from 200 units in 5 to 7 business days, on a matte stock as standard or a gloss-laminated stock where the label needs to survive a damp fridge or freezer surface.

When to choose it, and when not to

Choose a nutrition label when your product ships in a jar, pouch, or plain box and needs its own Nutrition Facts panel, ingredient list, and allergen statement, and the main packaging artwork doesn't have room for it or was already printed without one. It's the practical route for small-batch food, snack, and supplement brands who print short runs and can't justify reprinting a whole box every time a recipe changes a line of the ingredient list.

Choose custom product labels instead if what you actually need is a branding or flavor label rather than the compliance panel itself, since a product label is built for artwork and color, not a dense block of required text. If you're printing the panel directly onto a folding carton or box rather than as a sticker, talk to us about laying out that panel space on the box's own artwork instead of adding a separate label.

Questions people ask

Do you calculate the nutrition facts for me?

No. We print exactly the panel, numbers, and wording you send us, laid out cleanly on the label. Getting the nutrition analysis itself done, and making sure the panel format and wording meet FDA labeling rules for your product category, is on your side; the usual route is a lab or a co-packer's nutrition analysis service for that, or a regulatory consultant if the category is more complex.

Can the label survive a fridge or freezer?

With gloss lamination, yes, for most home fridge and freezer use. It won't hold up to a fully submerged wash cycle, but daily handling, condensation, and a cold surface are fine.

What size does the panel need to be to stay legible?

The FDA sets minimum type sizes tied to your package's total surface area; a small jar or pouch has a different minimum than a large box. We'll fit your supplied panel onto the label size you need, but the type size and format decision itself should come from whoever prepared your nutrition facts panel.

Can this go directly on the box instead of as a sticker?

Sometimes. If your folding carton or box has flat panel space, we can print the facts panel as part of the box artwork instead of adding a label, which is usually cheaper per unit at higher volumes. It only works if the panel content is stable enough that you're not reprinting the whole box every time a recipe changes.

Roll or sheet?

Roll-fed is the default for anyone applying labels on a packing line. Sheets are available for small hand-applied runs.

Can I reorder a smaller batch later if my order volume changes?

No. Reorders carry the same 200-unit minimum as the first run, because below that the setup cost makes every unit too expensive. What a reorder saves you is time: the artwork and dieline are already approved, so we can move to production faster.

How are nutrition labels different from product labels?

Nutrition labels are product labels sized and laid out to carry a Nutrition Facts panel, ingredient list and allergen line, printed to the artwork you supply, with gloss lamination for fridge or freezer use. We do not calculate the nutrition values. Product labels carry your front-of-pack branding. Both are roll-fed matte art paper from 200 units in 5 to 7 business days after proof. Many food brands order both on the same job.
