We produce them, printed on kraft, from 200 units, one or two colors, in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The common sizes are 12, 14 and 16 inches square, all with a 1.75 inch depth.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a printed pizza box when the box is doing your advertising. It rides on the passenger seat, sits on a kitchen table and gets photographed, and a one color logo on kraft costs far less than the impression it makes. B-flute keeps a 16 inch pie flat and holds the heat for a 20 minute drive. It is the right box for pizzerias, ghost kitchens and frozen pizza brands shipping a chilled product in an outer carton.
Choose a take out box for pasta, wings and sides, because a pizza box has no depth and no grease coating on the base. Choose a bakery box with a window for flatbreads or focaccia sold across a counter, where the customer wants to see the product before buying.

Questions people ask
Is the box safe for the pizza to sit on?
Yes. The liner that touches the food is unbleached virgin kraft, food-contact grade, with no ink or coating on it. The fluting and the outside liner may contain recycled fiber, which is normal for pizza boxes, and they never touch the food. All print goes on the outside face only.
Will the base go soggy?
Kraft corrugated absorbs some steam, which is what keeps the crust from going soft. It has no grease-resistant coating, so a heavy oily pizza will show a spot on the base after 20 to 30 minutes. If that matters, order the corrugated saver pad, or ask about a coated inner liner on runs of 500 or more.
Why B-flute instead of E-flute?
B-flute is about 1/8 in thick and stiffer across a 16 inch span, so the lid does not sag onto the cheese. E-flute at 0.06 in prints better but bows on anything over 12 inches. For 10 inch boxes we can do E-flute if you want a sharper print.
How many colors can I print?
One or two colors flexo is the standard and the fastest. Kraft board shifts colors, so red prints darker and white ink comes out slightly muted. Full color is possible on a white top liner, but it changes the board and adds a few days. Send us your logo and we tell you what it will look like.
Do the boxes ship flat?
Yes, in bundles of 25, and they fold in about 4 seconds once you have done a few. Fifty boxes take about the space of a milk crate. We do not ship assembled pizza boxes because the freight would cost more than the boxes.
How is the pizza box different from the pizza slice box?
The pizza box carries a whole pie: one-piece B-flute corrugated with an unbleached food-contact kraft inside liner, a front tuck lid, side locks and steam vents, folded flat in the kitchen, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The pizza slice box is a wedge-shaped food-grade SBS carton for one slice, with a greaseproof coated interior and optional vents, from 500 units in 8 to 10 business days. Delivery and whole pies need the B-flute box; by-the-slice counters need the wedge.
