Sushi box
Food-grade SBS, window optional1,000 minimum · 8 to 10 business daysA sushi box is a shallow, food-grade folding carton sized for a set of rolls or nigiri, built with an optional window so the presentation is visible before opening, for a sushi restaurant, grocery counter, or delivery kitchen. We produce them from 1000 units, ready in about 8 to 10 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a sushi box for a restaurant, grocery counter, or delivery kitchen selling rolls or nigiri sets, where a food-grade window box that shows the presentation and holds up against rice moisture matters more than a generic takeout container.
Choose a standard food tray or clamshell instead if you're serving a mixed bento-style meal rather than sushi specifically, since this box's shallow single-layer shape is sized around roll and nigiri presentation, not a compartmentalized meal.

Questions people ask
Does the interior coating hold up against rice moisture?
Yes, the coated interior is rated for typical sushi rice moisture over a normal serving window. For a longer hold before consumption we'd suggest keeping the box refrigerated as you normally would with any sushi packaging.
Can the box fit a mix of rolls and nigiri in one layout?
Yes, tell us your typical combo layout and item count and we'll size the box for that mix. A compartment divider is also available if you want rolls and nigiri kept visually separated.
Should I get a full window, or will that let the sushi dry out faster?
A full window is standard for sushi boxes since the visual presentation is a big part of the sale. It doesn't meaningfully speed up drying over a normal service window, and for extended holds any takeout packaging benefits from being refrigerated.
Is 1000 units realistic for a single restaurant location?
It's a common minimum to reach for a busy single location over a normal ordering cycle. If your volume is lower, we're happy to talk through timing so the order lasts a reasonable stretch.
Can I print a different design for different combo sizes?
Each distinct print design runs as its own job with its own 1000-unit minimum. Running a few sizes together in one combined order is fine.
Do you offer chopstick or sauce packet slots built into the box?
A die-cut slot for chopsticks or a small sauce packet can be built into the design. Tell us what you want to include and we'll work it into the layout.
How is the sushi box different from the charcuterie box?
The sushi box is sized for a single layer of rolls or nigiri, 7 by 5 or 9 by 6 inches, on food-grade SBS with a moisture-resistant interior and a full-width window option, from 1,000 units in 8 to 10 business days after proof. The charcuterie box is a wider grazing box up to 16 by 12 inches with a grease-resistant food side and optional dividers, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days. Sushi counters need the sushi box; catering platters need the charcuterie box.
