Charcuterie box
Grease-resistant SBS, window option200 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA charcuterie box is a shallow, wide folding carton built to hold a grazing spread of meats, cheeses and accompaniments for delivery or pickup, with a food-contact grade grease-resistant liner. We produce them from 200 units on SBS paperboard, with a clear window lid or a closed printed lid, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a charcuterie box for a delivery, catering or grab-and-go grazing product where the food needs to be visible and stay level in transit. The shallow depth and window lid are built for exactly that.
Choose a standard take-out box or a cake box instead if the food is a single item, stacked, or doesn't need to be seen through the lid, since the shallow charcuterie format wastes depth and cost on anything that isn't laid flat.

Questions people ask
Is the box actually food safe for direct contact?
Yes. The interior coating is food-contact grade and grease resistant, suitable for direct contact with meats, cheeses and oils without a separate liner sheet, though we recommend parchment under anything very oily for easier cleanup on the customer's end.
Can it hold ice packs for cold delivery?
The box itself isn't insulated. For cold-chain delivery beyond about 2 hours we'd recommend pairing it with an insulated outer shipping box or a cooler bag rather than relying on the charcuterie box alone.
Does the window fog up with refrigerated food?
Some condensation is normal with cold food and a sealed window lid. It usually clears within a few minutes at room temperature and doesn't affect the food underneath. We can also supply a small vented window if condensation is a frequent complaint.
Can you build in dividers for different food sections?
Yes, a corrugated or paperboard divider tray insert is available to separate meats, cheeses and accompaniments. Tell us your layout and we'll size the compartments.
What's the largest size you can build?
16 x 12 inches is our largest standard footprint, sized for a party or family-size grazing spread. Larger custom sizes are possible with a structural review, since box rigidity becomes a factor at wider spans.
How far in advance should a catering business order for a big event?
We'd recommend ordering at least 3 weeks ahead of a known event date to account for the 10 to 12 business day production lead time plus shipping, with buffer for any proof revisions.
How is the charcuterie box different from the sushi box?
Both are shallow food boxes with a window option. The charcuterie box is 18pt SBS with a grease-resistant food side, 1.5 to 2 inches deep, in 9 by 9 up to 16 by 12 inch sizes with an optional divider tray, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The sushi box is food-grade SBS with a moisture-resistant interior for rice, sized for a single layer of rolls or nigiri, from 1,000 units in 8 to 10 business days. Grazing boards need the larger charcuterie box.
