The box gives clearance around a standard apple so toppings shouldn't touch the walls in normal handling, for a very heavily loaded or drippy topping we'd suggest confirming your specific apple's finished diameter against our standard sizing.
Does the stick fit through the notch cleanly?
Yes, the notch is sized for a standard wooden candy apple stick. If you use a different stick width, let us know and we'll adjust the cutout.
Should I get a window, or will that expose the coating to air and dry it out?
A window is standard for candy apple boxes since the coating and toppings are the visual sell. It doesn't meaningfully speed up drying over the timeframe these are typically sold and consumed within.
Is the interior coating necessary if the apple is fully coated and not touching the board?
It's good insurance against any contact or drips during transport, so we usually suggest keeping it even with clearance built in.
Can I get a smaller size for a mini or bite-size candy apple?
