Candy box
18pt SBS, tray or divider option300 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA candy box is a folding carton sized to hold boxed confections, either loose-fill or arranged in a divider tray, built for a retail candy line or a gifting product rather than a bulk bag. We produce them on 18pt SBS from 300 units, with an optional fitted tray insert, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a candy box for a retail confectionery brand or a gifting product where the candy is arranged or presented rather than just bagged, and a rigid folding carton adds to the unboxing rather than just holding the product.
Choose a printed candy bag instead for loose-fill candy sold by weight or volume, where the lower cost per unit of a flexible bag matters more than a structured presentation.

Questions people ask
Can the divider tray hold a mixed assortment of different candy shapes?
Yes, the tray is die cut to your specific product mix. Tell us the shapes and sizes in your assortment and we'll lay out cavities sized to each.
Do you handle any required nutrition or allergen labeling?
We print whatever nutrition facts, ingredient list, and allergen text you provide, laid out to fit the panel, but confirming the correct required wording for your product and state is on your side.
What's the difference between a magnetic close and a plain tuck-in lid?
A magnetic close on a hinged lid gives a more premium, reusable open-and-close feel and costs more per unit. A tuck-in lid is the standard, lower-cost option and is what most everyday retail candy boxes use.
Can I get a window in the lid so the candy is visible on shelf?
Yes, a PET window is available in either lid style. It's a common choice for retail shelf presence where shoppers want to see the product before buying.
Is 300 units enough for a seasonal or limited flavor run?
Yes, 300 is our production minimum and works fine for a seasonal or limited release. Just plan your ordering timeline around the 10 to 12 business day lead time so the box arrives before your selling window.
Can the same box work for both loose-fill and a tray insert, or do I have to choose one structure upfront?
The outer box structure is the same either way, but the tray insert is a separate die-cut component, so you'd choose at ordering time whether to include it. Switching later means a new insert order, not a new outer box.
How is a candy box different from a candy bag?
The box presents; the bag holds. The candy box is 18pt SBS, loose fill or a divider tray for arranged pieces, with a tuck-in lid or a hinged lid with a magnetic or ribbon close and an optional window, from 300 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. The candy bag is a printed food-contact laminate bag, flat or stand-up, heat sealed or open for a twist tie, for loose candy sold by weight, from 500 units in 8 to 10 business days. Gift assortments suit the box; bulk and favors suit the bag.
