Cereal box
18pt SBS, tall format for bag-in-box300 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysA cereal box is a tall folding carton built to hold a bagged dry food product inside (cereal, granola, oats), sized so a standard poly bag liner sits inside the printed outer carton. We produce them on 18pt SBS from 300 units, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose a cereal box for a granola, cereal, or dry breakfast brand that fills a poly bag liner and needs a tall printed carton around it for retail shelf presence, where the box height and shelf-facing panel matter for standing out.
Choose a stand-up pouch instead if you're selling direct-to-consumer without needing shelf presence in a tall carton format, since a pouch alone is lower cost per unit when the shelf-standing outer box isn't required.

Questions people ask
Do you supply the inner bag liner, or just the outer carton?
We supply the printed outer carton only. The poly bag liner is sourced separately or through your co-packer, so tell us your intended bag dimensions and we'll size the carton to fit it properly.
What's the standard height range for a shelf-ready cereal box?
11 to 12 inches tall is typical for standard retail cereal shelf sets. We can run taller or shorter to match a specific shelf planogram if you have one.
Can I run a nutrition facts panel and ingredient list?
Yes, we print whatever nutrition and ingredient text you provide, laid out to fit the side panel, but confirming the correct required wording for your product and state is on your side.
Does the box need glue to assemble, or does it tuck together?
It's a reverse-tuck design, top and bottom, no glue needed. Your bag liner goes in before the bottom tuck closes.
Can the front panel have a die-cut window to show the product?
Yes, a window on the front panel is available, though most cereal boxes run a full-coverage printed front instead since the bag liner underneath isn't usually meant to be seen directly.
What if my product needs a resealable feature?
The outer carton itself doesn't reseal; that function comes from your bag liner. A zip-seal bag liner is common if resealing matters to your customer.
How is a cereal box different from a seal end carton?
The cereal box is a tall 18pt SBS reverse-tuck carton sized for a bag-in-box fill, with a full-coverage offset print and room for a nutrition panel, from 300 units in 10 to 12 business days after proof. It tucks together without glue, so it suits hand packing. The seal end carton glues shut at both ends, which makes it tamper evident and suits a cartoning line, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days. If you fill by hand, the cereal box. If a retailer wants a sealed carton, seal end.
