Rollstock film
Multi-layer barrier laminate, roll format200 minimum · 10 to 12 business daysRollstock film is printed flexible packaging film supplied on a roll rather than as pre-cut bags, made to run through your own form-fill-seal or vertical packaging line rather than being filled by hand. We run it on a multi-layer barrier laminate, quoted by the roll, ready in about 10 to 12 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose rollstock film if you run your own form-fill-seal, vertical bagging, or flow-wrap line and need printed film that feeds directly into that equipment, rather than pre-made bags you fill by hand.
Choose a pre-made pouch instead if you don't have packaging equipment on your line, since rollstock film only works if you have a form-fill-seal or similar machine to convert it into finished bags. It isn't a finished bag on its own.

Questions people ask
How do you size the roll width and repeat length for my machine?
Send us your machine's make and model, or its web width and repeat length specs directly, and we'll size the film to run correctly through your equipment without registration issues.
How does the 200 unit minimum work on film?
The minimum is 200 units, the same as every Tria product. Roll length depends on your film weight and bag size, so your quote converts the order into linear footage, number of rolls and estimated bag count once we know your specs.
Can you match a barrier level for a specific shelf-life requirement?
Yes, tell us your product and target shelf life and we'll recommend a film structure with the right oxygen and moisture barrier for it.
Is print registration guaranteed to align correctly on my machine?
We register the print to your provided cut and seal specifications and test on a sample run. Some fine registration adjustment is normal during the first production run on any new film, and we work with you through that process.
Can I order a shorter trial roll before committing to a full production roll?
A shorter trial length is often possible for testing registration and film performance on your line before a full roll. Ask us about a trial run when you place your first order.
Do you supply film for both horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal lines?
Yes, tell us which type of line you're running and we'll size and register the roll for that configuration.
