Soap wrap paper
Uncoated print paper, belly-band or full wrap1,000 minimum · 6 to 8 business daysSoap wrap paper is a printed paper band or full wrap sized for a standard bar of soap, the low-cost format handmade and small-batch soap brands use instead of a box, either a narrow belly-band showing the bar itself or a full wrap that encloses it completely. We run them on uncoated print paper from 1000 units, ready in about 6 to 8 business days after proof.
When to choose it, and when not to
Choose soap wrap paper for a handmade, small-batch, or natural soap brand where a paper wrap fits the product's positioning better than plastic film, and a low-cost format matters more than a rigid box for a bar that mostly needs a label and a bit of protection.
Choose a folding carton instead if your soap needs more structural protection for shipping, or if you're selling a gift set of multiple bars together, since a paper wrap alone offers minimal cushioning and is built for a single bar sold on its own.

Materials that suit it
Questions people ask
Does the paper wrap actually protect the soap during shipping?
It offers light cosmetic protection and keeps the bar clean, but it isn't a cushioning material. For shipping direct to customers, we'd suggest a bit of tissue or a mailer box around the wrapped bar; for local retail or pickup, the wrap alone is usually fine.
Can I get a kraft or recycled-look paper instead of bright white?
Yes, kraft is a common choice for a natural or handmade soap brand. Ask us for kraft in your quote and we'll confirm stock availability.
Is a belly-band or full wrap the better choice for my soap?
A belly-band shows the bar's actual color and texture through the open portion, which suits a natural soap brand that wants the bar on display. A full wrap gives more printed surface and fully covers the bar. Tell us your priority and we'll recommend.
How is the wrap sealed without using plastic tape?
A small glue dot, a paper sticker seal, or a tucked-edge fold are the standard closures, all avoid plastic film if that matters for your brand's positioning.
Can each soap scent or variety have its own wrap design?
Yes, each distinct print design runs as its own job with its own 1000-unit minimum. Running several scent variants together in one combined order is fine once each hits minimum.
Will the ink hold up if the soap has any natural oils that seep through?
Standard offset or digital ink on uncoated paper can show some oil staining over time from certain soap formulations. If your recipe runs oil-rich, we'd suggest testing a sample wrap against your actual bar before committing to a full order.
How is soap wrap paper different from the soap box?
Soap wrap is the lightest way to brand a bar: 60 to 80 lb uncoated print paper as a band that shows the bar or a full wrap, sealed with a sticker, glue dot or tucked edge, from 1,000 units in 6 to 8 business days after proof. The soap box is an 18pt kraft or SBS carton with tuck ends and an optional window, which protects the bar in shipping and stacks on a shelf, from 200 units in 10 to 12 business days. Hand-sold bars suit the wrap; shipped and retail bars suit the box.
