B/BC-flute corrugated, braced base200 minimum · 14 to 18 business days

A floor display is a full-height corrugated merchandising unit that ships flat and assembles on site into a free-standing structure, built to hold and present a multi-SKU or bulk product run in an aisle or entry space. We produce them from 200 units on braced B or BC-flute board, ready in about 14 to 18 business days after proof.

When to choose it, and when not to

Choose a floor display when you need standalone aisle or entry presence for a bulk product run or a multi-SKU program, and the retailer has floor space allocated rather than counter or end-cap space.

Choose a PDQ tray instead when the placement is a checkout counter or a small end-cap shelf, since a floor display's footprint and weight capacity are built for aisle placement, not a register.

Questions people ask

How much weight can a floor display actually hold?

It depends on the base bracing and flute we engineer for your load. A standard 20 x 20 inch BC-flute unit with a braced base typically holds 80 to 120 pounds distributed across its shelves. Tell us your total product weight and shelf count up front so we size the bracing correctly, not after the fact.

Why is the lead time longer than other display products?

A floor display carries real structural load and stands unsupported for weeks in a retail aisle, so a physical sample of the braced base is made for you to check before the full production run. That testing step is what adds the extra time versus a counter tray.

How long does assembly take in store?

Most units go from flat pallet to assembled display in under five minutes with two people, using interlocking tabs and no tape or tools. We include a laminated assembly card with each shipment.

Can it hold multiple different SKUs at once?

Yes, and it's a common setup: a header graphic promoting a line, with shelves or dividers sized to hold several different products or package sizes within the same footprint. Tell us your SKU mix and we'll lay out the shelf spacing.

Is corrugated sturdy enough for a multi-week retail placement?

With the right flute and a properly braced base, yes. Corrugated floor displays are standard across grocery, drug and mass retail and routinely stay up for a full promotional cycle of 4 to 8 weeks. Board selection matters more than people usually expect, which is why we ask about placement duration up front.

What's the minimum order, and can I test in a few stores first?

200 units is our minimum, set so a brand can run a real regional or single-chain test before committing to a wider rollout. The dieline and structural engineering carry over cleanly to a reorder once the test performs.

How is a floor display different from a PDQ display?

Size and placement. The floor display is a full-height corrugated unit on B or BC-flute with an interlocking braced base, up to 60 inches tall on an 18 by 18 to 24 by 24 inch footprint, engineered for 40 to 150 pounds of product in an aisle. The PDQ display is an E-flute tray that pops up on a checkout counter or end-cap shelf and holds 12 to 48 units. Both start at 200 units; the floor display runs 14 to 18 business days after proof and the PDQ 10 to 12 business days. Aisle programs need the floor unit; register and shelf placements need the PDQ.
